The Victorian Government recently announced a program of cladding rectification works to fund over 500 buildings in Victoria that are deemed to be high-risk due to the existence of flammable cladding materials. Essential Services Management Update Annual Fire Safety Statement (AFSS) Regulations

The NSW Government has introduced reforms to the Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation which introduced enhanced requirements relating to fire safety in existing buildings. Part of this was the introduction of Competent Fire Safety Practitioner (CFSP) and accreditation. Over the past few years there has been a transition to accreditation of CFSP and this will now come into effect 6th April 2020. Continue reading
