The Exchange, Darling Harbour
The Exchange, a new building at Darling Harbour, will be a spiralling, light-filled “hive” designed by world renowned Japanese architect, Kengo Kuma. The Exchange will be a civic space designed to meet Sydney’s growing needs, and includes a state-of-the-art library, a new childcare facility, a market hall, restaurants, and bars providing sweeping views of Sydney’s skyline. Standing at 6 storeys high and wrapped in 20km of sustainably sourced timber, The Exchange is set to be one of Sydney’s new architectural icons.
