The Geelong Library and Heritage Centre won the 2016 Australian Institute of Architects Victorian Chapter, Victorian Architecture Medal.  The project has also won the William Wardell Award for Public Architecture, Marion Mahoney Award for Interior Architecture and the Regional Prize.

The building has been designed to be an inspiring, multipurpose space for the enjoyment of the region’s community and local, national and international visitors.   The centre was designed by ARM Architecture, built by Kane Constructions and approved by the MGC Melbourne team (Justin Saville, Building Surveyor).  The project was completed in November 2015.
