John Holland Pty Ltd

The North West Rail Link is a priority rail infrastructure project for the NSW Government. The rail link includes 15km of tunnels between Bella Vista and Epping – Australia’s longest rail tunnels.

The North West Rail Link will deliver eight new railway stations at –

  • Cherrybrook;
  • Castle Hill;
  • Showground;
  • Norwest;
  • Bella Vista;
  • Kellyville;
  • Rouse Hill;
  • Cudgegong Road
  • Tallawong Road Maintenance Facility

The stations are designed to reflect the character of the local areas they serve and, where possible, environmentally friendly features such as solar panels, natural lighting and ventilation will be used.

All stations will meet the needs of:

  • Pedestrians;
  • Cyclists;
  • People using buses and taxis; and
  • People being dropped off or picked up in cars.

All stations will provide easy access for people with a disability.

Two stations – Rouse Hill and Castle Hill – will feature major bus interchanges.

There will be commuter parking for 4,000 cars at five of the eight new stations.
